Les 1er et 2 octobre 2014, plusieurs doctorants de Bordeaux III, Steeves Demazeux, Timur Uçan et Henri Wagner, organisaient un colloque sur « La relativisation de l’a priori », dont une des références était le philosophie américain Clarence Irving Lewis. Outre Jean-Philippe Narboux (Bordeaux III), Juliet Floyd (Boston University), Jim O’Shea (UC Dublin) et Sanford Shieh (Wesleyan) participaient à cette rencontre. J’ai donné une communication sur « Sellars, Firth and the myth of the Categorial Given » pour tenter de donner un nouvel éclairage sur la version du mythe du donné proposée dans les Carus Lectures de Sellars.
